Are you Living in sorrow?

We all do at some time in our life.
Definition: sorrow, a feeling of deep distress caused by loss, disappointment, or other misfortune suffered by oneself or others.

Paul E. Billheimer wrote this,”today there is a strong emphasis in religious circles which insists that the ideal spiritual life is one of unbroken joy,peace,and material prosperity. the impression is current that to be saved and filled with the spirit opens a charmed life entirely trouble free,where all problems are instantaneously solved and where miracles never cease.”

Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 2 Tim 2:3
* there will be suffering.

And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. Luke 9: 23,24
* it will be everyday

And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Mark 10:21,22
*there will be sorrow

Sorrow, suffering, disappointment, depression, troubles, loss of a loved one,friend, possessions, we have all been through it.
Some of us hide it really well, some show it on their face for the world to see, either way its there, it hurts! some will live in the pain of sorrow forever, but we don’t have too.
Our God is Jehovah-Rophe the God who heals. He will heal you of your sorrow, take you out of your despair and depression. Call on Him, He is listening,believe in Him, He wants to give you peace, after all He is Jehovah-Shalom (peace).
He knows when you are suffering from sorrow, loss, disappointment, and He is there with you, His spirit is there to comfort you.
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
He warned us there will be trouble, sorrow, pain, disappointment, but He gives us His promise, “He has overcome it all”.
Take heart brothers and sisters we are told to live by faith in Christ, who has overcome! And so will you,through Him.
